This little nightlight is wonderful. It imparts a nice, flickering light that has a soft, amber color. The flickering light is often imitated with many other brands, but truly, nobody does it better than Luminara. That flame flickers realistically, as if in a gentle breeze. It's a bright enough glow that you don't really even need to turn on the bathroom light to see what you're doing. It's small, unobtrusive, but packs a punch for a warm, homey glow wherever you put it. I love it. Read more

We had an outlet that wasn't going to be doing much of anything, so I thought a cute little nightlight would suit the space nicely. The candle nightlight is really very pretty, fits perfectly and functions well. The flicker motion is nice and smooth; at a distance you might think it's real. It exceeded expectations in that department. Much like a candle though, it doesn't give off a great deal of light. It's more of a decorative item with a touch of illumination than a traditional, practical nightlight. Also, as by design the light censor is on the bottom of the unit, not the side or the front, so it may perceive a space as being darker than it actually is, leaving it active for a longer period of time. Considering it's not that bright it's not a big deal, but it's worthy of note. I do like that it does have a variety of colour base options. A final critique would be that it does seem a little bit pricey for what it is, but it does seem to be the best of its type on the market, so if you're looking for a faux candle nightlight you won't find better than this! If I find more outlets with no purpose, and they're on sale, I'll get more for sure. Read more
The media could not be loaded. I bought this a year ago and love it so much I searched the item in my orders to leave my review! I have it in my upstairs bathroom, near bedrooms. The nightlight gives off a decent amount of light. Enough that I don’t need to turn the light on when using the bathroom at night. Now my husband & sons- they still need to turn the light on for nighttime bathroom trips. The motion detection is detecting light- or lack thereof. This nightlight faithfully turns on whenever the bathroom is dark/dim. I love the candle effect! It really has that candle look and SOUND! A very quiet crackling can be heard when it’s on. It’s relaxing. The light is a yellow orange color- similar to real candle flame. This has been plugged in for a few days shy of one year- and still going strong! Which is great- since it’s not cheap. A handful of times the flame stopped flickering. I just touch the flame and it immediately starts flickering again. When this one dies, I will buy another!! No installation needed- just plug it in!
