This mask is high-quality. I have a lot of hair, and the bands have enough give yet offer a lot of stability without being adjustable. The beads that provide the weight move around, providing localized pressure where you need it. The satiny interior and straps are a nice feature that helps protect your delicate hair follicles. I like the size; it provides a lot of coverage and blackout. This mask is comfortable and kind of molds to the face without bulk. At this price point, this mask isn't anything remarkable. It is not worth the money. It is a no-frills mask and super easy to gain benefits right out of the box. Read more

Hands down the best eye mask I’ve ever used, and I weirdly own like 15 for some reason. Read more

This is an elegant and comfortable mask that feels good on the skin and stays on all night. I love the feel of the silk and the navy blue color. I have a pretty large head for a woman and it's almost too loose but it did stay on all night and was very comfortable even in the back - the straps are silk covered elastic. It completely blocked the light unlike other masks I have tried. and didn't interfere with my breathing at all. The only reason for 3 stars is that I didn't sleep any better with it on the 3 nights I tried it than on the 3 nights when I didn't wear it. I will try it for another couple of weeks and see if it makes a difference but if it doesn't help me sleep, it's not worth the price no matter how luxurious it feels. Read more

Comfortable relaxing sleep mask. It's weighted with tiny glass beads that add a cooling effect, even without putting it in the refrigerator. It's not adjustable so make sure you order the correct size. The small fits my adult size head but my 9 year old can also wear it comfortably. It keeps out the light entirely though if I move around sometimes I can see light where it fits around my nose. It stays in place while lying or sitting still, it seems to slip off throughout the night. It's well made and soft. The tag says the exterior is made of silk. But the lining is rayon and the padding is polyester. Not machine washable, definitely hand wash. The price currently is out of control. Read more

I was really excited to get this mask because I’d heard about Lunya's washable silks and have been wanting to try the brand, though the $98 price point for a silk mask gave me pause. In addition, I got the large size by mistake (thinking I would prefer a bit loose to too tight, and I have a head somewhat on the bigger side in hat sizes), and so I have had to pin the back to get it to be sufficiently snug while sleeping. But that leads me to my first issue: why have sizes at all when so many silk masks have adjustable straps nowadays? At this price point, it seems like adding a way to adjust the back wouldn’t add too much manufacturing cost and would save having to make two different models of each color. Anyway, the mask itself is very nice on the face - the glass beads inside behind the silk give it a very nice cooling effect on the face, which is fantastic if you’re someone like me who runs hot. It of course blocks light very well because it is quite large and well stuffed. As for sound muffling, it’s probably because mine is too big but I didn’t get much of that effect, but even if I did I don’t know if it’d be worth the heat retaining effect of the padded band covering the ears. And that brings me to my final issue: you cannot remove the padding from inside the mask for washing it, which seems like it should be a no-brainer. Instead, you need to hand wash the whole thing and lay it flat to dry. My friends, it took almost TWO days to dry completely after washing it and trying to squeeze as much water out as possible without damaging it, because it has some sort of cushioned filling in addition to the glass beads. Surely a zipper and whatever needs to be sewn up to make the fill removable could be afforded at this price point? Truly baffling choices. Now that I have it, I like it very much (for the cooling and mostly comfortable wear) despite those issues, but it’s far too expensive for the issues it has (hard to wash, can’t customize size) which seems basic. I suspect, unless you have a large volume of hair pulled back at night that needs accommodating (like braids or dreads), the small size is really the standard size, and the large size is more like XL, so if you’re going to sink your money into it, buy the small in most cases, but I think it needs a big price cut without those quality improvements. When it's advertised as "weighted", they're not kidding. The small weighs over half a pound. It fits quite nicely with the two bands in the back, but it's not really comfortable to wear with a cpap. The mask also comes with a drawstring pouch made of the same material as the mask, and this is a nice feature. The pouch, though, has a weird flap pocket at the bottom, about one third the height, with no explanation as to why or what it's for. The issue of value for the product is most certainly a personal decision. Read more

This is a beautiful, weighted eye mask from Lunya, which is well known for their silk products. I really like that this is washable, and that it is weighted. I’m not sure it’s completely noise blocking, but due to the weight, it definitely muffles sounds. My only regret is I didn’t pay more attention to the sizing. I got a large because typically I don’t think my head is terribly small. However, the large is little loose on my head, but I’ll make it work. I do wish these straps were adjustable as elasticized bands do loosen overtime. All that being said, this is a lovely eye mask that would make a fantastic gift for yourself or someone else. Read more
