My first impression of this was that it felt cheap compared to others that I’ve tried. It’s very lightweight, only has 2 heat settings and zero frills. That being said, I was absolutely shocked at how well this curling wand works. The curls last all day and are very easy to revive the next day. I’m very happy with this purchase. I use the 1 1/4” bc my hair is pretty long, if there was a version of this wand with a longer barrel I’d definitely buy it! Read more

This curling wand has some solid potential, but let’s talk about the hot (and not-so-hot) spots. First off, it should definitely come with a glove—unless you’re into the occasional finger burn (my wife isn’t). Also, it’s not really made for longer hair unless you want to curl it in awkward little sections that take forever. And consistency? Well, let’s just say your curls might not always match the Pinterest board. On the plus side, my daughter LOVES it. She’s already a curling pro with perfect waves every time, so it’s not a total loss. Just, you know, maybe not the best choice for everyone. 3 stars—because it works, but also kinda doesn’t.
