If you're used to Halo, this is smaller than theirs, but the snugger fit works well on my kid, who's a little on the longer & thinner side. Fabric and stitching are great. I was sick of spending $20-$30 on something my kid will wear for a few months. Because of accidents, etc, I like to have 2 or 3 sleep sacks, so that can add up to almost $100 every 6 months if I'm lucky. I like the material. It’s light enough we can use it in a warm context but it also adds some warmth if it’s cold. Our little one is 18 months but probably on the smaller side. To make sure the bottom isn’t too wide that they can still escape, we just tie the bottom of the material. The zipper also goes from bottom to top and they haven’t figured out how to open it and this little one is all about figuring out how to escape. I think the price was reasonable. Read more

I have a couple Hudson Baby sleep sacks but this one's our favorite. It's super soft and warm but still breathable - perfect for all seasons. The green print is gender neutral so we can definitely pass this down someday. The zipper catches a bit sometimes but it's a lot better than the nightmare zipper on the Hudson Baby muslin sleep sack. Very cute, my kids loved sleeping in sleep sacks. This was a bit thicker than I expected. I bought it for the summer months, but it is actually two layers of muslin. So, very nice and high quality, just a little warmer than what I wanted. He ended up walking sooner than I expected, so I don't really need it for the summer now, so it wasn't a problem. This would be good for cooler climates or an air conditioned room, or fall/spring. Read more

UPDATE: My son will only sleep in this at night. We live in a warm climate and even our winters just don't get very cold. He is now 15 months old and will try to crawl into it at bedtime if I'm not getting him ready fast enough. It has kept him cool in the summer and warm enough in the winter. I've laid a small blanket in his bed a couple times (since he it's at an age and mobility where this is not a safety concern for him) on our colder nights and he's slept really well with it. I'm about to buy our 3rd muslin sleep blanket, as he's grown out of his second one. Love this product!! Original post, April 29,2018: I followed the size chart by my son's weight. I thought this would be a little more fitted than it was but I suppose all sleep sacks are made that way. That aside, this does allow for better breathability. I laid his cotton sleep sack and this muslin one on my legs to test the warmth and this muslin one definitely stayed cooler than the cotton. My son still sleeps in a swaddle, but we have used this on him a few times and he is very comfortable in it. Follow the wash instructions to keep it from shrinking.. I followed the instructions and it kept its size and shape. We haven't used it enough to say if it lasts or not but it seems sturdy to me so far. Read more

This is a great sleep sack - SUPER soft and seems to be a great value as it is good quality but less expensive than some of the other brands. It does run a bit large, but my taller 18 month old fits into it well and should for several more months. Read more
