I washed and dried it when it arrived since it did have a bit of a packing odor, and it came out great. No shrinkage and no additional fraying to the bottom. I'm 5'3 and 137Ibs, carrying a lot of my weight in my back. The Large fits me perfectly. There's room for comfort and/or for wearing a thicker top underneath instead of just a tank top without it looking bulky. I got the graphite black and it's nicely distressed and a great color. I don't like the brand new denim look nor the raggy too distressed look. This jacket is just right. It's soft and a medium weight, just the ticket for our mild South Florida winter days. I purchased this jacket in olive green, size m and it fits perfectly. I am 5'6, 165lbs, 38c. I usually wear a size medium, sometimes large, depending on brand. I didn't want this jacket to be oversized since it has a boxy shape. I can close it but never do. The sleeves fit well and my arms are not skinny. I like the color and fit. The only thing I didn't like was, that it was worn, itvsmelled, and was sadly stuffed in the bag, all wrinkled and old looking. That wasn't very attractive and I normally would have send such a product back but I liked the jacket so I chose to keep it. There are so many cute summer floral patterned dresses with tiers of flounce and ruffles and sometimes you need something to add to one of these. Restaurants, movie theaters and even some evenings are cool. This jacket is perfect. It's not heavy at all, cuffs roll up easily, and there is such a variety of colors. I now have the green, pink, white and black and wear them all the time. The price is perfect, the size is just right and I love the pockets and ability to stick my glasses or a tissue in them and they don't fall out. This jacket is NOT bright white - Which is what it says in the description. It is an off white/ivory color. Definitely not bright white. Now with that being said, if it was bright white I would have been excited to keep it. It's soft, fits well, has pockets. I would have been super happy with it. But describe it correctly.
