They work, but it was a pain in the butt to fit in properly. The bulb needs to come to more of a point so it fits in the hole on the retainer. Just saying. Read more

They fit the Subaru XV 2015 so they also fit the Impreza. I used them to replace the dome light and the map reading lights (3 in all). They emit very white light and they are brighter than the factory bulbs. The brightness is nice when you open the door to get in the car but be aware that if you use the map lights while you drive, you may be annoyed by the brightness. Update 6/25/2016 The dome light started flickering. I rarely use the car at night so the dome light was barely used (other than opening the door). I had a spare since I purchased 4 and used 3 and I am hoping that this was just one off. One star less for going bad so fast while it was barely used. If another goes bad soon, I will be making this one star. One last thing I should have mentioned is that the heat sinks on these get really hot so be careful if you are going to touch it while it was on for awhile. Update 12/27/2016 The driver side map light started flickering. It does not flicker every time it comes on but nevertheless it does. The funny part is that whenever I need to turn on a light in the car, I use the passenger side map light because the driver side feels like it's in my eyes. So the light that started flickering now is the one that has the least "mileage". So I believe that some of these are defective and they start flicker. Problem is that the map light bulbs are a pain to replace. I will order another 2 and I hope I get at least 1 good out of them. The dome light that I replaced 6 months ago is still working ok. Since I decided to give it one more try, I will keep the review at 3 stars. Update 5/5/2017 I am sorry to say that these keep going bad. They are very bright but I am not willing to keep taking the lights apart and keep changing them. So I changed my review to 1 star because of the short life time. I purchased these Philips 30mm festoon X-tremeVision LED 6000K Interior light (Pack of 1) and they are not as bright but they are 6000K and they are expected to last for years. Read more
