This sweater is so adorable. I bought the black . I love how it can be worn either way. Casual with the buttons down the front and date worthy with the buttons down the back. This is also soft and not see thru. You can also wear this tucked all the way, half tucked or not at all, great length either way . Read more

The color is lovely and the material is very soft, though quite thin. I had high hopes for this cardigan, but it's been a disappointment. The V-neck is extremely deep on my petite frame, which means I can't wear it alone, and the thin material wouldn't work for that anyway. The bigger issue is the buttons. While the ribbon-like backing is a thoughtful touch, the buttons are loosely sewn on. It feels almost guaranteed they'll fall off eventually, just a matter of when. The buttons themselves are also tiny and difficult to fit through the tight buttonholes, especially if you have longer nails. All that fidgeting to button and unbutton will likely speed up how quickly they detach. I really expected better construction quality. The design and softness are nice, but the execution falls short. If you're considering this, be prepared to possibly resew buttons or wear it open as a layering piece only. Read more

I ordered this cardigan looking for an easy layering piece for cooler days, and my feelings ended up being a bit mixed — though there’s a lot to like depending on your expectations and how you plan to wear it. First impressions were positive. The color is beautiful and true to what’s shown online, and once the fabric had time to relax after packaging, it felt softer and more substantial than I initially expected. While it’s on the thinner side, it still has a nice structure to it, making it comfortable without feeling flimsy. It works well for indoor wear, offices, or mild weather rather than true cold. The fit is where personal preference really comes into play. On a petite frame, the neckline sits quite low, making it less practical to wear fully buttoned on its own. I also found the length to be slightly cropped when fastened, which looks intentional and stylish with high-waisted jeans or skirts, but may not match the longer silhouette shown in some photos. Sizing up helps with drape, especially if you want a relaxed, layered look. Button design is probably the most polarizing detail. They look nice and elevate the cardigan visually, but the buttonholes are very tight, which makes fastening and unfastening a bit of a struggle. That constant tension also raises concerns about how well the buttons will hold up long-term, as they don’t feel as securely attached as I’d prefer. It’s wearable as-is, but I wouldn’t be surprised if some people choose to reinforce the stitching or simply wear it open most of the time. Styling-wise, this is a versatile piece. It pairs easily with denim, skirts, and dresses, and can transition from workwear to casual evenings without much effort. Worn open, it looks polished and effortless. Buttoned, it’s more fashion-forward than practical unless layered over a tank or tee. Overall, this cardigan is soft, attractive, and nicely styled, but not without quirks. If you’re okay with a lighter-weight knit and are willing to work around the buttons and fit nuances, it’s a charming addition at a reasonable price. Just don’t expect heavy-duty construction or a wear-it-any-way sweater without a little adjustment. Read more
Heart of Lace, Shield of Fire—November 3, 2025
The First Impression Straight from the bag, this cardigan had quiet confidence. I chose black, and she’s pure inky magic, like the sea at midnight when the moon hides away. The rib knit is soft yet structured, light to medium weight, and feels intentional in every stitch. She isn’t kitten soft, more of a woolish blend that speaks of shape and strength, but with a thin layer underneath she’s ready for anything. The collar rests right at the top of the shoulders, neat and sculpted, giving her a clean, modern frame that feels just right. The Details That Matter Every inch of her ribbing tells a story. The hem and cuffs have a tighter half-inch rib, neat and tidy. The body has a close rib pattern, and the button placket even tighter, giving texture and rhythm. Five buttons trail perfectly, letting you wear her forward or backward, depending on your mood. It’s a smart, playful design, simple but full of personality, a little ball of yarn with a mind of her own. The Feel and Fit I sized up, and she drapes beautifully. Not too thick, not too thin, just right for layering or lounging. She moves easily over dresses or tees, never clingy, never sloppy. While she's not kitten-purr soft, she has her own charm, steady, graceful, the kind that lets you sip a cappuccino or curl up with a book without ever feeling fussy. The Style That Shifts with You That’s where she shines. Worn as a cardigan, she’s classic and polished, perfect with a midi skirt or front-tucked into jeans for effortless chic. Turn her around, wear the buttons down the back, and suddenly she’s a flirt, mysterious, fashion-forward, and perfect for candlelit dinners or art gallery events. She can be office-smart one minute and moody-romantic the next. Versatile, playful, serious, all of it, in one little knit that knows how to read the room. ----------------------------------------- Fabric Breakdown: The Ribbed Trio 42% Acrylic – The Shape Keeper Adds structure and gives her that faint wool-ish charm that holds her silhouette. 28% Nylon – The Stretch Muse Keeps her flexible and smooth, letting her move with you. 30% PBT – The Silken Stabilizer Adds soft bounce and strength so she keeps her shape season after season. Together? They blend into a fabric that’s steady, sleek, and quietly luxe, perfect for everyday wear with a kitten twist. ----------------------------------------- Care Routine She got the full kitten VIP treatment: cold water, gentle cycle, and flat-dried on a towel to keep every rib in check. Never hang her, it stretches her poor shoulders, and she deserves better. Fold her sweetly, let her rest, and she’ll reward you with seasons of loyal wear and quiet beauty. In Closing This cardigan isn’t the loudest in the drawer, but she’s the one that keeps you coming back. Thoughtful, reversible, elegant, and just a little mysterious, she’s the purr between minimalism and charm. She’s that piece you reach for on chilly mornings and starry nights, knowing she’ll always match the mood while keeping you toasty. Read more

I ordered this sweater to have something quick and easy to put on at work when it gets cold. It’s an attractive color and comfortable. I knocked off a star because the button holes are very tight (I thought perhaps they were just deceptive at first because it was so hard to undo the buttons). It’s also a bit shorter waisted than the product photos when buttoned. Read more
