I’m really impressed with this coffee table—definitely not your typical flimsy press-board Amazon piece. It’s heavy, which I love. It actually feels solid and high quality, which is rare in this price range. Assembly was a bit of a challenge, though. The included Allen key stripped after just a couple turns, so I’d recommend having your own tools on hand (I used a Craftsman multitool and that saved the day). I also accidentally installed one of the side panels upside down. The instructions were okay, but could definitely be clearer—just take your time and double-check everything before tightening screws. Luckily, the mistake didn’t affect the function—just left some pre-drilled holes visible on the top of one side panel. Not a dealbreaker, but something to watch out for. One of my favorite features is the hydraulic lifter—it’s stronger than I expected and holds up even if I lean on it while working. Feels super sturdy and reliable. Also, a quick tip: I added felt pads to the legs, but since I’m using it on carpet, it made the table really hard to move. Definitely use floor protectors if you’re on hardwood, but skip them for carpet. It looks beautiful in my space and feels like something way more expensive. For $150? Totally worth it. Read more

We bought this table for our daughter's first apartment. I was able to match the table design and light color wood to an entertainment center of another brand, and she has the perfect living room set up. We love the lift of the table so she can use the space to study, eat, or whatever she wants. The table came in pieces with all of the hardware. While it was a bit confusing to put together, and I had to take pieces apart and back together twice, it all worked out and looks great. This is not a quality product I would recommend, unfortunately. The product’s laminate finish chips easily and a few pieces already had chips on the corners. To put together the product, you will need a power drill with some torque, and a decent amount of time for the assembly. The last step alone is 12 screws that are not pre-drilled, to be screwed in upside down. It’s a cheap table, you get what you pay for, and we’ll be selling this on Marketplace and looking for another table. Read more

This coffee table looks great, but took a lot of effort to assemble. The instructions are easy to follow, but a power drill is absolutely necessary to assemble this. You won't be able to get the screws all the way in without a power tool. The hex key that was provided in the kit eventually also wore out and was unusable. Make sure you have some tools on hand! Note that there is some powdery coating on the pieces when you first open the box. I was worried it was fiberglass, but read later it's likely from the spray adhesive they use to attach the wood print to the board. Wiping it down with a wet cloth did the trick and I didn't have any adverse health effects after. Overall it looks pretty, functional, and worth buying if you know what you are getting yourself into.
