These lights have so many more uses than as just under cabinet lighting. They can be used virtually anywhere light is needed. I used them for lighting in a walk in closet. I'm shocked how long the battery lasts before needing charged, & they are fully charged in no time even when completely dead. The adjustable brightness is great, they get so bright that I could've elected to not even use them all to light up my whole closet, however I went ahead & used them all so I can keep the brightness turned down on them, which stretches their battery life even further. The brightness is so easily adjustable, it can be done with a simple touch. I was never expecting so much intensity to be possible from such small lights, especially because I've had so many other puck lights in the past. I've had terrible experiences with the type that require AA or AAA batteries. I felt like I was replacing the batteries every other day. That's why I was caught so of guard with the battery life of these little things. The motion sensing is fantastic, they're coming on as soon as the closet door starts to open. They don't turn off the second they don't sense movement either. These actually replaced lights in that closet that would do that because they'd leave me so frustrated. If I were in there folding clothes or trying to decide what to wear, they'd leave me in the pitch black darkness constantly. I couldn't deal with that anymore. I'm so happy I gave these a go. Definitely worth the money! Read more

These lights are very easy to install and set up, especially being wireless and rechargeable. The metal bases with double-sided tape securely attach under the cabinets and the magnetic bases on the units make removal (e.g., for charging) and reattachment quick and easy. Everything you need is included, you just will need your own charger to plug into the wall. Any standard USB charger that puts out decent power will work. The charging cables are a bit short but still sufficient and are split to charge 3 units at once and 2 cables are included to cover all 6 units. The lights have many useful settings including brightness (5 levels), color temperature/warmth (4 settings) and the ability to group the lights into any number of 3 "stations." Brightness ranges from soft to bright and warmth ranges from soft yellow to cold white. Grouping them together into a station sets up those particular lights to come on and off together. From what I can tell, groups 1 and 2 stay on for 3 minutes once movement and room lighting are no longer detected. Group 3 stays on for 30 seconds after there is no more movement and light. The brightness setting applies to all lights in a specific group/station but color temperature can be set individually for each light if desired, even in the same group/station. The range over which the lights communicate according to each group/station should easily be far enough for most situations. I use one light in another room which is about the furthest it could be from the lights in the kitchen and it still follows the others on that station. Motion and room lighting detection on any one unit within a group will trigger all lights in that group. The motion and room lighting detection are sensitive. The lights may come on even if not really needed, but this is much better that not being sensitive enough. And since the lights are LED and rechargeable, battery life is not really a concern. It's better to have the extra light when needed. They can also save more energy in the long run because they can provide enough light for a quick trip into the kitchen without having to turn on all of the kitchen lights. The lights seem sturdy and well-built. They feel solid and the switches operate smoothly. The brightness is a "cycle" switch operated by touch, e.g., up-up-up-up-down-down-down-down-up-up, etc. As noted, there are 5 levels of brightness. They can provide soft, ambient lighting or useful bright light. I will try to add to this review once I have had enough time to provide a full charge and battery-life update. Currently, they are operating with the original factory charge and about 2 hours of additional charging. Overall, I would definitely recommend the Lyridz LED Under Cabinet Lights if you are looking for a simple, flexible under cabinet lighting system that is very easy to install and adjust or reconfigure as needed. These are really well made and bright lights. I got these for our cabinet so when we would open the cabinet the lights would come on. Unfortunately they will not turn off. No matter what combination of grouping I use they will not turn off. This wouldn't be the worst thing I guess if it didn't mean having to charge these lights every few days as a result. I received an initial set of the lights and had the same issue. The seller sent a second set of lights and they are experiencing the same issue. I really wanted to be able to use these but just can't. The seller customer service was excellent but unfortunately the product is not. I would not recommend these lights given the price. Read more

I’m really torn on this one. I wanted these to solve my no lights in the closet problem with minimal charging times. I really didn’t want to mess around with wiring it up, I wanted the lazy more convenient way. I really thought I had that with these lights. They are very bright or dim whichever you desire and the color temperature is conveniently located on the side. You can link these together one or two or all, with the switch on the side.. easy and it works flawlessly. They also utilize a magnetic style mount so charging is a snap. So what the heck is the problem.. right? Well these things are built so well and the electronics work so good that the sensors see through the walls, doors, etc. I installed these in a hall closet, door is always closed but we walk by the door constantly throughout the day. So these sensors pick us up every time we walk by and stay on for the usual 30 seconds, killing the batteries much more quickly than if only coming on when opening the door. We don’t get in there that much, maybe 3 to 4 times per day and it’s quick under 30 seconds. So we walk by that door maybe 20 times per day if not more and the lights are coming on each time. Having to charge the batteries every 4 days just isn’t convenient to keep them in, the search continues… Read more
