These are worthless. They usually work OK when brand new, but shortly after take a lot of attempts to get a poor flame. I took a brand new one on a camping trip and couldn't even get the lighter fluid lit on the camp fire. Buy a nic Bic or comparable brand and just refill it. Read more

The lighters we purchased are defective. We tried two our of the five before asking for refund. They both exhibit the same behavior: For a few lights they work OK, then are hard to light and just produce a very small flame (~1/4 inch), even though you can see the fluid level in the lighter is almost full. Update 5/19/2015: Changed from 1 to 2 stars due to responsive customer service. Upon M.V. Trading Co. customer service, they asked me to try the other lighters. When I did and told them that three had the same problem, the offered to replace them. I accepted. Of the three new lighters, I've used two and they performed acceptedly until they reached around the 1/4 fuel mark, and then refused to light anymore, like the other two that didn't fail earlier. These are great lighters. I have candles in several rooms and keep one in each room. I also keep one next to the BBQ and oven. The multi-pak was very convenient. They are easy to light because there is no "Childproof" mechanism on them which I like since I don't have to worry about kids in my house. I have not tried to refill them, but will update my review when I do. Read more
