I'm comparing these to Lululemon lined pace breaker shorts which I also own and like. The size for small is similar for both. I haven't owned them long enough to comment on durability. Pros: The cell phone pocket on the liner is secure to hold my phone steady on a run. Multiple pocket options to carry items Towel/T-shirt loop is very useful (missing on my pace breaker shorts) Cinch cord at the waist can be worn outside the pants or cleverly switched to the inside of the waist. It takes a minute but you can tuck the cord through the pants so that it is on the inside of the waist band, without removing the entire cord. Attractive style Good, light, breathable materials Cons: The zipper pulls flop around like little tassels. This is a design preference but I'm not a fan. I removed the thin orange cord pulls leaving rather small metal zipper pulls. This might be an issue for those with larger fingers or reduced dexterity but it's good enough for me. All pockets are deep which increases likelihood of items (e.g. keys) swinging around with running. I would prefer at least one smaller, shallow pocket but not a big deal in practice. Read more

Really love these shorts for running. A hundred miles or so in and they're holding up pretty well. Liner is comfortable, features are great. Zippers still work well. Pattern is fun. One minor gripe I have is the cell phone pocket, my phone gets locked when I wear these shorts more than any other. It's like it's too breathable and allows too much sweat in, but not a dealbreaker by any means. Read more
