I am 5’6 170 lbs with a 31 waist. I regularly workout and occasionally run. I love this brand for all occasions. Particularly for these shorts they work great during a 5k run. Ive used the same pair several times for running and multiple washes and it retains its durability and comfort. These do not chafe against your skin and have deep pockets. It has a loop to put your shirt through or a towel. They are lightweight and have a good stretch quality to the under-layer. I would obviously recommend not to wear an additional pair of underwear. My 11 year old son loves these. They have held up well over 6 months of constant wash and wear. Only suggestion would be to size up from what you think would be your regular size, especially if you are not very skinny, the waist band runs a bit tight. Read more

Found the perfect running shorts! I've tried and enjoyed different ones in the past - Nike, Fabletics. This ticks all the boxes for me. Affordable price point, looks clean, snug fit, secure phone liner (less bouncing even than my more expensive ones), zipper pocket, additional pockets, even a loop for my shirt or a sweat towel. I LOVE these shorts so much. To start, they are VERY lightweight and comfy. I don’t have any issues with constrained mobility and can wear these and comfortable go for a run or do yoga. I also appreciate the thoughtful design of the pockets. Each side pocket has a smaller pocket/compartment stitched into the thigh side of the pocket and it’s such a good space for storing energy gels or a car key. The built-in compression liner is also a huge perk for me. I usually chafe at my thighs and this feature prevents that. I usually do outdoor running away from home and like to have my ID on me - the back zipper pocket makes me feel confident that I can carry my wallet (ID/card holder) with me without having to worry about dropping or losing it.
