It's comfortable and easy to adjust. The fabric is smooth and soft. The gel is nice and a good weight. It's definitely blocks the light. My only issue is that the thickness of the weighted gel is a little awkward on the side of the face when sleeping on my side. I love this eye mask so much that when my luggage was lost after a recent flight, this was the first thing I replaced! It is a 100% blackout mask, with a soft cushiony feel that is weighted just enough to feel comforting and secure. The area over your eyes is slightly hollowed out and there's a small flap that lays across your nose so that not even the tiniest sliver of light comes through. I bought this for me and my boyfriend and let me tell you my sleep has improved significantly since using it! I cannot go to sleep if there’s any source of light around, and this does a wonderful job of blocking out the light, while being comfortable with an adjustable strap so it’s not too tight. I also thoroughly enjoy that it’s weighted with the beads because I also use a weighted blanket and I think the combination of both has me sleeping like a baby!! No horrible scent also is a plus!! This eye mask is weighted, but it’s not real heavy just heavier than the normal foam eye masks. I really like it and it’s comforting, but I usually wake up and it slid down my face. I tighten the band to make it tighter so it won’t slide down and it gets a little uncomfortable. I prefer the regular foam lightweight ones, but this one is pretty good at blocking out the light and giving a feeling of comfort when you first put it on. Read more

This mask is very comfortable. It's the first time I've used a weighted mask. I really didn't know what to expect. I get migraines on a regular basis, and normally the last thing I want is anything touching my face, though sometime a bit of pressure in just the right place can ease the pain a bit. Enter this guy. I will lay it across my brows, a bit over my eyes, and I have even been able to drift off to sleep. It's good at blocking light. I am not strictly using it for sleep, but it works well for that too. It's dense. It's a great design, what I understand of design. I'm able to stretch it and kind of morph it a bit, if I need to, when dealing with migraines. (It's great to leave in the fridge/freezer if you know you're going to need it for a migraine.) The weight has been a bonus, depending on the type of headache I have. (I switch between a near weightless mask and this one.) For sleep, it's a winner. I don't know why, but there is a comfort in the weight of this mask. I deal with anxiety, and that may be the reason.
