I have a large Golden Retriever who has a bit of separation anxiety if we leave him for long periods of time. This usually manifests as chewing apart his bed or cushions in the house if I forget to put them up. This bed is not fancy but he hasn't chewed it yet after a month of use. I also ordered a Titan Citadel Ballistic dog bed from Buddyrest which took a month to arrive and he chewed that within a couple days of it arriving. So I am a big fan of the Mabozoo bed! Only complaint I have is that I which they had a bigger size. It does not come apart like other beds to clean, but I have been vacuuming it and I think I will hose it down outside when I need to clean it. Apparently it is machine washable - but it is a little big for that. Read more

They emphasize a lot that the bed is indestructible and chew resistant, but my 4-month-old puppy tore it up on the first day. Read more

Not chew proof or indestructible, my dog was in her kennel for 5 hours and I come home to all of the stuffing out of the bed, I ended up shoving the stuffing back in the bed. If I could give it no stars I would. Cheaper beds have lasted longer than this one. Read more

This is not chew proof! My large dog has chewed through 2 of these! Yes they are durable maybe for a medium or smaller dog. Not for a dog that likes to chew that is for sure! These are also hard to dry. They absorb a lot of water and makes it hard to dry. My dog peed on it and it absorbed a lot of it and was hard to get the urine out. Read more

I give up. Having tried many “chew proof indestructible” crate mats, I now know they don’t exist. While tougher than most, my dog has chewed this bed and it’s only a matter of time before it’s all chewed up. It’s not you it’s him. Read more

After owning this dog bed for six months, I can say that it is, in fact, chew proof. My one year old dog has tried to chew it several times, and he can't put a dent in it. I have to admit that I was skeptical at first, but this material is extremely durable. It's easy to clean; just throw it into the washer, then dry it on Low Heat in the drier. Read more
