I purchased the Mac Book Air Charger expecting a dependable replacement, but after only a few weeks, it failed completely. No warning signs just one day the laptop wouldn’t charge and the adapter was dead. What went wrong: Claims “45W” output, yet it couldn’t even reliably charge my machine after such short use. Build quality feels cheap: the brick got hot within minutes of use and the cable connection felt loose and unstable. The plug and adapter felt flimsy; for something critical like a power supply, I expected more durability. The seller’s claims of “safe” with over-voltage/short-circuit protection turned out to be hollow when the unit simply quit working. Being stuck without my Mac is unacceptable downtime and frustration for what should’ve been a simple replacement. Would I recommend it? Absolutely not. If you care about your gear and want something that lasts more than a month or two, spend a little more and buy from a reputable brand or OEM. I’ll be returning this one and looking for something I can trust. Read more

Works good, charges fast and gets the job done. Does overheat though. I ordered one dec 2023 and the plug piece just broke / came apart on yesterday. however no sparks or anything dangerous. So it lasted me up to a year, okay for the price. Read more
