I wanted something that didn't feel bulky, and this sure fit the bill! I ordered both the small and medium, not knowing which would fit best. The medium was a little large on me (I'm 5'1), and the small was just a tad too small. I could definitely make the small work, but I wanted something that would fit over winter PJs, so I kept the medium. It washed up nicely! I love that it's light weight -- I hate bulk. I don't mind that it's open front, in fact I prefer that. The only thing missing was pockets. If there had been a pocket it would had 5 stars. My spouse summed up this “jacket” when he saw it on me, “Oh that looks nice and fluffy, but where”s the belt?”, thinking it was a new robe. It is nice and fluffy and warm, and it washes well for first use. However, as much as it wants to be a jacket, it’s really a robe. The material is a very thin fleece, not what one thinks of as “sherpa”. It’s sewn together very basically with no trim. There’s no piping around the edges, no thicker edges to delineate the collar, just a plain hem stitch along the edges. Close up, they look ragged. Basically, it’s a soft furry thing to keep you warm on a cold day around the house. My cats like sleeping on it. I have the pale green, which is a nice color.
