Hands down best after care product Iβve used on my tattoos.. just used this on my most recent tattoo and had ZERO peeling. I use to just use aquaphor like every shop told me too but no more! Highly recommend using the wash and balm they sell too - all smell good, use skin sensitive ingredients and reduce the itching during healing. Read more

This is the BEST aftercare product for use on brand new tattoos. It is soothing, absorbs well, and a little goes a long way. How I use it: 1) Put in the fridge so it is nice and cool for application (I have a make up fridge that I use) 2) Squeeze about half as much as you think you need on clean hands 3) Dab lightly all over your fresh tattoo, starting on the edges and working inward 4) After you have dabbed all over the tattoo, lightly massage it in 5) Take a paper towel and lightly blot away any extra I do the above a couple of times a day for the first week, cleaning with Mad Rabbit Foam during each shower (at least once daily). After peeling is over, I switch to a lotion product (still perfume and dye free) for the next several weeks. Afterward, I use sunscreen daily (same sunscreen I apply elsewhere). Overall, I love this product. No sent, appropriately moisturizing, thick enough to sooth and protect the new tattoo, and does absorb well (don't use too much)! I would love a larger bottle, but do like how easy this squeeze bottle works. Tip: This works well any time you get too much sun as well. My husband ended up with a bit of a sunburn and we were able to heal him pretty fast with this. He said it was soothing/cooling. Read more

Consistency/thickness is comparable to aloe Vera gel or hand sanitizer gel. No scent. Colorless. No irritation. I used aquaphor on my tattoos for the last 13 years, but wanted to try something specific to tattoo healing. My tattoo artist is a fan of mad rabbit so I decided to try it. 10/10. Quality feels great. If im comparing it to aquaphor, it sets a lot less thick. Almost no sticky after feel if you leave it be. Does not make your fresh tattoos stick to your clothes. Seems to absorb into the skin well. I have less flaking and almost no itching during the healing process. Feels moisturized. The ink stays vibrant. Iβll be using this from now on for all my tats Read more

On a very painful and itchy tat this worked wonders in the healing process. It may feel like it's burning some, it's taking that inflammatory response out and promoting healing. I dislike how it makes my skin feel sticky for hours Read more

Came highly recommended by tattooist I went to. Easy to apply and didnβt leave a great residue. Kept my tattoo and the skin hydrated as it healed. The balm has a nice, subtle scent, nothing overwhelming. Would highly recommend these two products for tattoo recovery. Read more

Good product to heal new tattoos and moisturizer on existing ones. Clear gel that goes on smooth after applying it does feel a little tacky but that goes away pretty quickly. This is my second tattoo I am healing using this product. There is definitely less itching and pealing with this than previous tattoos healed with other stuff. I definitely recommend this. Read more

---update!!--- The one problem I had with this stuff is solved! The one way valve makes it hard to control how much comes out.... Just unscrew the cap and it works perfectly!---- ____ This is the stuff to put on your tattoo as it is healing. This stuff works differently than just lotion. It is cooling which is nice for itching and it moisturizes well. It creates a film over the tattoo that keeps it moisturized longer. If you are wearing loose clothes or if the tattoo is in an open area its perfect stuff..... If it is in an area that has tighter clothes or if your clothes have any lint it is a bit of a sticky mess. I had it on my thigh while I was sleeping and woke up with linty sticky mess that I had to wash off my leg. It was like a patch of felt on my leg. It was kind of funny, but I wont use it there again. Also my clothes would stick to it there. It was perfect on my ankle and my wrist. Also the container is...difficult. it has a one way valve in it which is kinda good as it keeps air from getting in and it keeps longer. However if you have a small tattoo, get ready to Always have too much. You have to put enough force on the tube that you cant just get a tiny little dot of the stuff you have to put enough force to make the valve disengage and you have a quarter sized splotch every time. So I really like this stuff....when it works..... And now it will because I can just unscrew the cap and get exactly what I need! Read more
