I have a few Made By Johnny tops and I'm very familiar with the fabric they use in their clothing. It's mostly rayon, which can cling in an unflattering way if too small, but when you get the size right, it's magic! Very flattering, skims over your body and has great movement. For me, that means sizing up! I'm normally a medium in most tops, but for Made By Johnny I size up to a Large in their dolman sleeve tops. I have 9 (!) of the dolman sleeve tops, in various colors, 3/4 sleeve, short sleeve, boatneck and v neck. They're made of the same material as this cardigan. For this cardigan, I sized up to an XL and the fit is exactly what I wanted. I knew it would be lightweight and more for light covering or for layering, not for warmth. So I purchased the extra size up knowing I would be wearing tops under it. There's just enough room in the arms for comfortable movement and to accommodate tops with sleeves. The color is a deep black, the sleeves are a good length with a bit to spare, and the cardigan has a more tailored look, not slouchy. It's definitely slimming! The best part is I got overnight delivery! I'm going to a concert later tonight and needed a lightweight jacket since the weather is in that weird Autumn transition; hot during the day but slightly chilly at night. Read more

Lightweight which is great for summer months. Can be dressed up or down. Just wish it had pocket built in but it’s not a big deal. Read more

I absolutely love this in every way except one important thing. I've had it only two weeks and it's already pilling on the back and sleeves. I'll have to relegate it to "home only" and find something else. Otherwise, it fits beautifully, washes well, and is the perfect weight. I've had many of these, and am heartsick that in two weeks it already has pills. Read more

I LOVE these Cardigans! They are so soft, comfortable and flattering. I have 2 in brown. I wore the first one So much, that I ordered another, so I won't wear them out. Looks so good with my Maxi dresses, and with my pants. I get SO many compliments when I wear them. They are not real heavy, but not flimsy or too lightweight. They will be too hot to wear unless it is pretty cool out, or if you are in air conditioning. I'm cold natured, so they are perfect in air conditioned places, and when temps are in the 60's. I went by the size chart. Ordered XL. I can wear it and I pin it with a brooch if I want it to stay together. I could prob. do fine with a L. I am 5'1, and it falls below my calf which I like. I wear size 38 full D bra and weigh 130 lbs. Fit is good for me. Highly recommend! Read more
