Purchased two of these switches, one had a piece of plastic break off around the screw, and we're two mature people with no children. Only pushed the manual button to turn on one light occasionally. Neither smart switch would stay connected to wifi after the first couple of weeks past initial install in 2021 and nothing has improved in 2025. Tried reconnecting recently (again), and the blue pairing light blinks, but nothing happens. No connection. Contacted seller who offered a small discount for a new purchase, but one of the two purchased switches still works, why not troubleshoot first? Considered purchasing their newer version, but looking into upgrading to Lutron or similar throughout the house. I wouldn't recommend this model. They have a newer model that needs a hub, works with Zigbee, eero and more. Read more

I bought 3 of these. Simple install. Connected easily to Alexa. One worked for about 6 months then lost connection and will NOT reconnect. The other 2 went out on the same day about 3 months later and now neither of them will reconnect. Tried new batteries, followed the instructions but nope. Now all I have is a push button light switch. Read more

I got home today and realized my switch wasn't working so after trying to troubleshoot it for a long time I've realized that my kids unplugged my old Alexa Dot. This device does not work with my new Alexa echo. So once I plugged in my older device in my bedroom I was able to reset the whole process up with the switch and everything is working again. I figured this may help somebody else. Now the switch is working perfectly. The only reason I'm giving it a three-star is because it will not work with the brand new 2nd Gen eco dot. Read more

I bought one to control a difficult to reach light switch. Unfortunately I bought the Zigbee version which doesn’t work with my devices (my fault). But I was still so impressed by the product’s potential I ordered another in the BLE variation. It worked perfectly. I ordered two more the same day I hooked up the first one. These integrate smoothly with Alexa and can be operated with a timer or triggered by motion from another device (in my case, a Wyze cam). A couple of things to be aware of - 1, The little mounts that hold it onto the switch plate work well. But with the smaller ones you need to be sure to screw them in tightly so they curve into the necessary shape to firmly hold the switch. 2 - Also note that the device itself will connect to whatever Alexa device you pair it with. So pair it with the closest device to your planned installation. Once paired, it can be controlled by any of your devices or even by your phone. But any commands to the device will come via the Alexa device you pair it with. This is one of the most useful tech devices I have purchased in a long time. I bought one of the BLE switch and two of the zigbee switch. This review is specifically for the BLE switch. I researched probably for a week looking for a smart switch the would work with my currently toggle switch that I wouldn’t have to do any electrical. This definitely fit the bill. I currently have 3 echo devices in my apartment. A echo show 10 in my kitchen, a dot in my bathroom and show 5 in my bedroom. The BLE switch was for my bedroom. It was super easy to set up. Took like 5 minutes. And that was mostly putting the screws on the switch and mounting. The manual says hold the button for 20 secs and then it will rapidly blinks. I think it should says hold until it rapidly blinks because first a solid blue light will show continue to hold and then it will rapidly blink. It’s more than 20 seconds. I was able to set up an automation for switch to turn on at 7:58 and it works amazing. I will most likely be purchasing the motion sensor from this company to go in my bedroom so the light will automatically turn on. I would recommend this switch for anyone who is looking for renter friendly options to turn their home or apartment into a smart home or apartment. Read more
