I usually use Dp Hue root touch up. I saw that I would receive this one faster AND it only needed to sit for 10 minutes. I was hoping I could make the permanent switch since Dp Hue needs to stay in your hair for 45 minutes. I applied to my hair. I part my hair adding dye to each small section. I start on the side of my head that has more grays and work my way to the other side. By the time I finished, it had probably already been in the bad side for 15 - 20 minutes. I had some left over so went over the bad side again. I then set a 10 minute timer, slightly concerned that it had been in my hair for too long as it was. Washed as usual. Once my hair dried, I looked in the mirror and all the small pieces around my face are still completely gray. My scalp still has tints of dye but the hair didn’t pick up the color.
