This affordable and well-made laptop backpack should work great for those traveling with their laptop and other electronics. I like the way the bag opens wide, enabling easy viewing and packing. The zippers are smooth and the magnetic snapper is robust. There are plenty of interior pockets, including some with zippers. I especially like the security pocket on the back side (agains the wearer's back) which is great for keeping one's passport or other sensitive items. The padded laptop area easily accommodated my MacBook pro. I placed my 11" iPad in the same section, as the next slot was too narrow for it. The backpack is lightweight and its padded straps make it comfortable to wear. In addition, one can place the backpack over a luggage handle or carry it via the included handle. I am very pleased and impressed with the design of the Maelstrom Laptop backpack. I particularly like the leather like trim, the 2 handles in addition to the tradition backpack straps and structured frame making the bag sturdier than others I have had. Besides the large laptop compartment and the half dozen others inside ,there are many compartments and pockets on the outside (2 zip ups on the front, 2 water bottle sleeves on the sides and an addition padded compartment on the back).It is surprising that the with all these compartments and pockets the backpack remains seek and not bulky. This is the ultimate laptop backpack because it is structured, sleek, and affordable. Set it down, slip in the laptop and any accessories, and zip it up. There are so many pockets available providing ample storage space. This backpack is versatile in that it can be carried using the adjustable straps, or the handle. I appreciate that the laptop is held in place with a Velcro strap so it is secure, and I love the luggage strap to attach the bag to a suitcase. It is easy to see in this travel backpack and pull out what you need easily and quickly. This backpack is lightweight, extremely sturdy and attractive. The padded straps make this comfortable to carry. The zippers are securely sewn, all the hardware are quality pieces, and all the materials are first rate products. The media could not be loaded. My wife loves this laptop backpack as it is very versatile for her. She loves that it has hand straps as well as can be worn as a backpack. Adjustable straps makes it easy for anyone of different preferences to use. The bag has ample storage thats for sure, with all the zipper pockets and the wide mouth opening for the laptop itself with a plethora of pockets in the laptop area as well. Should easily fit a 17.3 as it swallows my 15.6 with ease and plenty of space left. Definitely a high quality and hopefully super durable bag as well. Will see how it stands the test of time. The inside is lunchpack style, spacious enough to fit big items. I can fit a 13-in MacBook, 16-in gaming laptop, and a portable printer, with space left, so I swapped out the printer and threw in a ream of legal paper and a ream of letter paper, so you can see what 2 laptops and 2 reams look like in the bag. Inside the main compartment, there's 2 mesh pockets on the sides, useful for cables or accessories, plus 4 pockets (2 top, 2 bottom) on the inside toward the front side. You can put a portable drive, or something slim like passports. On the outside, there's 2 side pockets for water bottles or umbrellas. The top pocket is magnetic, so you can put a snack or anything you want to quickly access. In the middle is a zipper pocket, for your pens or anything else long and slim. At the bottom is the main exterior pocket, for your stationary and other miscellaneous items. There's also exterior pockets on the lower back where you can securely store items you don't want other people to be able to access easily, but I'm not sure how it'll feel with stuff in it.
