I bought this hooded UPF 50+ shirt for fishing and hiking and it has become my go-to. The fabric is lightweight, breathable and quick‑drying, so I stay comfortable even on hot days. The hood offers extra protection for my neck and head, and the long sleeves keep the sun off my arms without making me overheat. I ordered the dark grey medium. I'm 5' 9-1/2", 170 pounds. Average length torso and arms. The medium fit well. It fits loose. The arm length was a good fit. I'm satisfied with this shirt. The hood won't stay up in breezy conditions - deduct a star. If you wear a hat, it helps keep the hood up. I wish it had a drawstring but I knew going in that it did not. I hiked in it, which is why I got it. I also swam in a lake with it and since it's pretty light weight, it didn't bog me down in the water. I'm not sure how much sun protection you get when it's wet. I can't say no sun protection. For the price, it is a good value. I'll probably look for another one with a drawstring, though. Probably more expensive. Read more

Great color choices. At 6’1” and 205 lbs, the XL size fits great. They are a little long in the tail, but I don’t mind that. The hood, worn over a ball cap provides good sun protection but does gap at the neck. I’m considering having a seamstress add a button and button hole there, which would make these hoodies provide perfect overall sun protection. The fabric has a nice, soft, feel to it, not flimsy, not bulky, wicks and dries quickly. After washing, I take it out of the drier after about fifteen minutes which gets it plenty dry without over-roasting the fabric. Great value for the money. Read more
