It’s Kind of A Disappointment
First things first - the sizing chart that is linked was way off. According to the measurements, I should be a 12. Using the “Try & Buy” I ordered an 8 and 10. Both were swimming on me - so I ended up ordering a 6, which fit perfectly. The dress is a cheap, thin polyester and I’m really struggling with the fact I dropped $130 on a dress that is borderline see thru in the sunlight. Alas, I had a funeral and my timeline was tight. Color me not surprised when the dress had little tiny snags all over it after wearing it for 3 hours to a memorial. In the simplest of words - it’s a cheap piece of a crap. It seems this cheap crap is all you can get for under $200 these days. I give it 3 stars, because even though the quality is lower than a 2004 club dress from F21, it fit well when I got the right size and got the job done. The front rouching is flattering and the hemline is a modest - making this a solid choice to wear once if you need to bury a loved one. Read more
