In the last 20+ years that have been using smartphones and the numerous screen protectors installed on them, I have to say that this product has been the best ever since and is an overall winner when it comes to DIY self applying at home. I almost never write reviews, but this whole experience was bad enough that I feel like people should know before buying. I ordered this screen protector because the pictures and description made it seem like a solid, high-quality product. It turned out to be one of the worst things I’ve bought on Amazon. The first one I tried was full of bubbles. I followed the instructions exactly — cleaned the screen, used the wipes, lined it up carefully — and it still ended up looking like a mess. No matter how much I pushed the bubbles out or re-adjusted, they kept coming back. For something advertised as “easy to install” and “bubble-free,” that was pretty frustrating. I figured maybe it was just a bad one, so I opened the second protector from the pack. That one was even worse. Within a short time, one edge cracked and then shattered even though the phone had never been dropped or bumped. It was literally just sitting on my desk and it broke. The listing makes it look like you’re getting a tough, clear, premium protector. In reality it feels flimsy and cheap. Between the bubbles on the first one and the cracked edge on the second, I’m left with nothing usable and out the money I spent. I’ve bought cheaper screen protectors before that worked way better and lasted much longer. This one failed right out of the box — twice. It really needs better quality control and the product page should be updated to show what it’s actually like. These screen protectors are super easy to install! I’ve used them before on prior phones. They last for a long time. Only once did I have to replace the screen protector because I dropped it on the seat track of my friend’s car and chipped the edge. Just replaced one of another brand on my latest phone. It was the high priced one sold where I got the new phone. It lasted about 3 weeks before it chipped. They sent me a new one, free(ha ha pay shipping) and it lasted maybe 3 months.
