I used a pad to clean a pair of dirty, light-colored Hokas. I added several drops of Dawn detergent to the moistened pad. It probably took 6 or 7 minutes to thoroughly clean the shoes. Upon finishing, the pad was partially split. The dirt it picked up washed out easily. The shoes look brand new. The pads did a great job but don't expect them to last very long.
