EDIT: my teeth arent really changing. Ive used it several times for 20 minutes. My tooth got a small chip shortly after using this a few days ago. I assume its weakening my front teeth. I cant confirm this but its really odd. I'm not getting fast results like other reviews I see here. But I've only used it three times, at different time increments. My teeth aren't really that yellow, I just noticed they're not as white as The whites of my eyes are. So I was hoping to get a more blue toned white on for my teeth, similar to my eyes The first time I've only put the gel in the mold and left it for four minutes. Two days later I used a Q-tip to applied the gel to my teeth directly. I also put some in the mold and used it for 10 minutes. Nothing great happened. I think they got one or two shades lighter. Looks kind of uneven. The bottom of my teeth, or the ends are getting whiter, but near the gums it's still yellow. That part of the tooth is thicker though, so I expect it'll also turn white. Just make sure to focus it all the way up on the tooth, just make sure none gets on your gums. (If it does just get a clean toothpick and swab it off.) I still have plenty of gel left, so I can update this review. My advice is to use a Q-tip and put the gel all over The surface of your teeth, put some in the mold, and then use it. For the first time it it says two minutes only, but you can leave it in for more. My gums haven't felt burned, even though I know I've probably got some gel on my gums. Overall; I'm going to try to leave it on for the full 20 minutes every time. I'd say if your teeth were really stained, these might be frustrating for you. Read more

This product is as effective as a professionally delivered kit when used correctly. 1) proper forming of the trays is critical. This requires multiple heating ( but not overheating) of the trays. Get very hot water but not boiling and submerge the trays completely to the tab for about 5-8 seconds then carefully center the tray over the teeth. Gently press your lip and tongue against the tray close your lips and suck (create a vacuum) and hold for about 30 seconds. Remove carefully and inspect. You are looking for adaptation of the tray to the teeth and gums. If you cannot see the outline of the teeth and gums repeat the process. This should only take 2-3 times. When done correctly you will see the outline of the teeth and gums precisely duplicated in the tray. 2) repeat for the other arch 3) using the gel: a: choose a tray b: CRITICAL… only use a tiny dot in the center of each tooth to be bleached. This dot should be about 2-3 millimeters in diameter. Set aside c: take a piece of paper towel and dry your teeth and gums, both the tongue side and lip side. Be thorough. d: carefully place the tray over your teeth and gently press the tray into place then pull your lip away from and over the flange of the tray e: gently push against the tray on the outside centering your finger on the middle of each tooth to be bleached f: leave in place for a half hour g: remove and rinse the tray with warm water and dry. Absolutely love this product. It does as advertised. Whitens teeth no matter where you go or where you are: driving in your car, doing house chores, getting ready to start your day, at your home office doing computer work. It's fantastic and it's compact to store anywhere. Don't expect quick results after first use or even the second use. With my experience I did it everyday for 45 mins each session for 7 days straight. And wow. Fantastic white teeth. Though I have great oral hyfiene, white teeth. I still noticed a light yellow tint on my teeth that I could never get rid of. After 7 days I could see noticeable results. I will continue to use this kit. In addition, I received high level peroxide bleaching syringes from my dentist when I ordered an at home whitening kit. Used 2 times in 3 days. The directions sound so time consuming but literally boil a small thing of water, dip, pop in and form and squish. Let set a few minutes and drop small beads of the solution at the bottom. Good to go with 15 minute session. This was simple. I loved the color chart they send also to compare. I cant see any big WOW but my teeth went from dull to a lil white sheen. I believe there is still a lot of time for progress. I did get a little solution on my gums. It did irritate it but that's because I went against the rules and didnt wipe it off. The 2nd application, I did immediately with no after effects. The one thing I did not enjoy, was the solution setting and slowly I would feel it creep out of the tray and foam up. I felt like a drooling fool and maybe 5 different times would have to spit it out of my mouth during the session so it didnt leak out the sides. Of course it dosent taste good.
