Magnetic mount speaker, inexpensive, and TWS pairing. Impressive! Buy two!
The media could not be loaded. News! Edited! Amazing function! So I bought the second speaker, and no surprise, it does not fabricate true stereo sound! But it does duplicate/clone the same sound as the first, for a second location! Do you realize what this means? Two or more can be enjoying this sound from these two speakers in a room, perhaps for a sporting or live concert event. Then one can walk off with one of the two speakers, to the kitchen, the bathroom, outside to the yard, etc., and take the sound with them! While leaving one speaker in the room they left! When they come back, another can leave and also not miss anything. Amazing! (Subject to Bluetooth range of course.) Simply turn both speakers on at the same time. It worked. New Tip: The sound has perhaps excessive treble for music. But perfect for voices, like news and sports. If you want to focus more on bass, perhaps a folded towel over the top of the speaker can “tune” that sound for tunes quite nicely. Perhaps putting the speaker in a corner can help the bass also. Captain Beefheart story available. To the initial review: Weighing in at 3.7 ounces, we have the magnet bluetooth, with optional lights. It stands 1.75” tall and 2.25” in diameter. Other points….. 1. Without using the peel and stick ring, this speaker will stick on the side of most metal objects that will hold a magnet, for example: Side of a textured or smooth metal refrigerator; (Or other metal appliance including a dishwasher, microwave and range hood) a metal door; a metal bath tub, a metal sink. Think of the possibilities! 2. Just as the other reviewer so far has speculated, I bought a 2nd one to test the two speaker functionality. I have my doubts about the TWS pairing producing “True” stereo sound. I have the low expectation the the exact same sound would should play simultaneously out of both speakers. And that is NOT stereo. What song to show that off? 3. A good way to use either is for music at two locations, like two rooms, kitchen and dining table, so that as you move back and forth, the sound continues evenly. Even for listening to a sports report on a game. 4. Page one of the manual for this DE415, graphically shows the switch/button, the USB C port and the optional “peel and stick” magnetic ring. No surprises there. The tiny red light, that indicates it is charging, was difficult to see under the USB C port, especially when the cable is in! 5. Page two of the manual says, in print that is far too small, what you can do with the button. I provided a photo as an attempt to make it readable, upfront. The ability to turn off the light display is a nice option to have. 6. The manual page says “wireless chip 5.4”, perhaps that is Bluetooth 5.4, or at least part of it? Giving the 5 star review for the magnetic attraction and price. (See rating scale below.) Mini Bluetooth speaker with magnet & light Vine review.
