I bought this as a gift for a friend, and when we opened it together, we spent about half an hour goofing off with it on her living room floor. We're both fully grown adults, so I imagine if it was a hit with us, it'd be great for kids. It's a little hard to get the two halves to hit each other just right to activate, but trying is part of the fun, and when it does happen, it's fantastic and works beautifully! It might be a bit tricky for very little ones, but I believe in them, and both halves are neat on their own. Also, the thing looks pretty cool, so when we're not playing with it, it's a neat display piece. Don't waste your money. I bought 2 and wish I didn't throw box away so I could return. They are cheap and flimsy and you have to fold them up just right to transform right. Within 2 days pieces were broken off. Read more

It's really cool but very flimsy plastic. The head fell off, I taped it back together (the head is two pieces and those hold the pin in place for the head). It's fairly difficult to fold up but doable. It's cool how it pops open, very clever. Also great to have one that's not violence focused. Read more
