OK for $10 lashes
I originally purchased these to test out magnetic lashes (as I was interested in the very expensive Wosado lashes). These are not the first magnetic lashes I've ever tried, but they are the first with this kind of applicator. While I can appreciate everything included in this kit (2 sets of lashes, the applicator, and case), it is truly a great value for the price, but the quality is not what I hoped for. The magnets are strong, and they're not at the same time. They were difficult to separate and put on the applicator. Once on the applicator, with the magnets facing the correct directions, I held it up to my eye as close to my lash line as I could and clamped UP as instructed so the bottom met the top. While they did stick, the shape of the applicator did not allow for the magnets to get close to my lash line at all, and they began to slide down immediately with a very visible gap from all angles. I tried cutting the lash to shorten it to better fit the width of my lash and reduce some of the weight, and I got it to work ONE time on ONE eye (and never again). When it was on, it looked great! Not the most natural thing (both styles) as they look plasticy, even for someone with black lashes. After fiddling around with them some more to practice the technique, one of the magnets broke off, so I'm also disappointed in the quality. It's unfortunate because I think the magnetic strength of these as a thin strip would look more natural and be easier to apply. The separate magnets and the gaps between make them hard to apply, heavy, and look unnatural. As these are not my first pair of magnetic lashes I've tried, I'm beginning to think magnetic lashes are a scam. Bottom line: They are good for $10 lashes if you have the right eye shape and lots of patience. You're paying for what you get, so they are also not the most durable or natural-looking.
