I bought this board to create a chore & allowance board for the kids. The glass front of the board diffuses the metal sheet backing which requires pretty strong magnets in order to stick. So, I decided to use the actual back of the board to create the board to create the chore and allowance board ( directly on the metal sheet backing ). The back is smooth and magnet stick super well. Plus, I can still use it as a whiteboard and use dry erase markers. Works perfect!!!! You get what you pay for. Worth every penny. It’s glass. Not like the other white metallic boards. Magnetic earaser holds well on it. Love the color black. Makes for easier reading from a distance. Markers write better as well as smoothly on the glass. Makes the functionality of cleaning so much better. The stuff that came for hanging it on the wall makes it not sit flushed onto the wall. Very sturdy glass which makes it easy to work on. Mounting system is ingenious, although I opted for stronger drywall anchors than what was provided. Only gripe is the marker tray. Too small, kind of flimsy and attaches with double sided tape. It works for what it is, but it feels like it was an afterthought. Great value on this board overall. But I wish I would have spent a little more for an integrated marker tray. Read more

The board is very sturdy, easy to clean, and looks nice. Setting up was relatively easy, even for one person (4'x3'). Having a second pair of hands will make it a breeze. Tu attach the marker tray, you have to use the tape that is included. Kind of weird, but works. The test markers that came with it are not even worth it because they are too thin. Recommended. Certain magnetic items don't attach. (Wall calendar, dry erase marker holder/container, separate dry erase board all with magnetic backing that had no issue attaching to fridge.) The markers that came with it don't show on the black glass. Read more

While browsing for a whiteboard I almost went for an expensive model (even without the magnetic) and looking at the reviews I saw many folks complaining about how difficult it was to install and some broke after the installation. This one, only good reviews and I have to vouch for that! It was dead simple to install using their template, the only "tricky" part was to make sure not to completely tighten the screws before you have them four aligned with the whiteboard (you'll need some jiggling room to move it up/down for the bottom/top screws).
