The first of these shirts I received had some very bad stitching on the front around the belly button area (see picture). I was able to secure a replacement and it arrived in perfect condition. I like the second shirt enough to comfortably give it five stars. However, due to the bad quality control on the first shirt, I'm going with four. I'm pretty consistently a size large up top. That's what I ordered here and I'd say the fit is ideal. It runs true to size in my experience. The quality of the fabric is surprisingly nice given the low asking price. I always like poly/rayon/spandex blends because they're wrinkle resistant and therefore great for travel. The shirt arrived in a vacuum-packed bag so it was extremely wrinkled when I opened it up. I gave it a quick steam and it was easy to get those deep wrinkles out. The build quality and stitching on the second shirt is about perfect from what I can tell. I can find no flaws or loose threads and I have no reason to believe it won't hold up very well. I don't know what happened with the first shirt or how common those issues are...If you end up with one of these shirts, I'd recommend looking it over carefully before wearing it to make sure there are no major flaws in construction. The look of the shirt is great; I really do love it. The plaid/tartan accents around the collar edge and under the buttons look great. I have a number of other shirts like this but they're just a solid color everywhere. This shirt is more fun and I'm really happy with it. This will be a great shirt to wear for dinner in the summer or at a resort. I've got a trip to Mexico coming up shortly and can't wait to take this shirt to wear around the resort. Not a linen shirt but acts and feels very much like one. Made predominately of polyester, thus casual, relaxed shirt gives an air of stylishness in a comfortable fashion. It’s interestingly made of polyester, rayon, and spandex but actually does look and feel like a linen shirt. It even easily wrinkles like a linen shirt. The washing and drying cautions are pretty strict — gentle wash, no drying in a machine, iron low. The first time I washed I didn’t read this and threw it in with all other whites and it came out fine. But that was only once. I like the color because it has an interesting plaid pattern that breaks up the all-white look while also giving form to the collar. So many linen shirts have weak collars that easily bunch up or crease and make the shirt unattractive. That’s the main reason I avoid them. But this collar remains strong and looks good. The fashion on this is above average. It fits to size and does not appear too baggy or loose (another problem with many linen shirts). Overall I’m quite pleased, although I accidentally ordered a Small instead of XL. So had to give to me son. Kind of humorous seeing a 13 yo wear a linen beach shirt like a middle-aged man, but it works! Read more

I grabbed this in light green, size large, and overall I am pretty happy with it. I usually wear a large and this fits true to size up top through the shoulders and chest. The length runs a bit long on me, but not in a sloppy way. Just something to note if you are between sizes or prefer a shorter cut. The fabric feels better than I expected for the price. It is a poly rayon spandex blend so it has a little stretch and does not wrinkle easily once you steam it. It showed up pretty wrinkled from being vacuum packed, but a quick steam fixed that fast. This shirt feels really cool to the touch and is very comfortable to wear.
