Works and inexpensive. Have been taking for the last few weeks due to low Hemoglobin and low red blood cell count as per blood test, with tiredness and low energy, and I don't feel as tired anymore. Giving me renewed energy. Haven't tested my blood yet, but I feel it working. Small pills , easy to take. I can do work projects around the house again! Taking another blood test in about 2 months. Will see what the actual results are but I definitely feel less tired from the anemia. Who can eat so much kale, spinach, liver, etc. to get the iron at an advanced age? This seems to do the trick. I and my family have been using these iron tablets for years now and have liked them because they don't upset our stomachs. Recently however, I've discovered the literature on the dangers of Red 40 which, unfortunately, this product uses. Sad to have to look for an alternative that doesn't use it.
