This body wash is surprisingly gentle for something with glycolic and lactic acid in it. The texture feels silky and gives just enough exfoliation to smooth out dry or rough spots without making my skin sting. It leaves my skin feeling clean and soft instead of stripped which is rare for exfoliating washes. I love that it is fragrance free because it does not clash with lotions or perfumes and it is perfect for sensitive skin. The niacinamide helps keep my skin calm and balanced so I get the glow without any redness afterward. It lathers nicely too even without sulfates which makes it easy to spread. I’m not brand-loyal when it comes to skincare products, which include body washes, so I ordered this because I like rotating them. MY EXPERIENCE WITH THE PRODUCT 1. This isn’t my first IYKYK product. I find the bottle to be attractive. It contains about 450 mL of body wash, which I think is good because I don’t use it daily. I use it on my exfoliation days. 2. I like the fragrance because it’s not too strong for a body wash, but it’s definitely not fragrance-free, unlike what it says on the product page. I think this is important because while I like this particular scent, I usually lean towards scent-free products. 3. The body wash lathers well, and I like using an exfoliator brush with it. The body wash is pretty thick in consistency. Some of the ingredients seem to be natural. 4. I find the body wash to be easy to rinse. 5. My skin feels nice after exfoliating using this product and I feel moisturized. I think it takes consistent use to benefit from this product. 6. The nice scent lingers on my skin for a few hours after showering. 7. I think that the formulation is good for me. While I have sensitive dry skin on my face, my body’s skin is more resilient, so it would be good for those with sensitive skin to examine the ingredients. I’ve been rotating this into my shower routine a few nights a week, mostly for rough texture on my arms and occasional body breakouts, and it’s made my skin feel noticeably smoother over time. I appreciate that it’s chemical exfoliation rather than gritty scrub particles, so it doesn’t feel abrasive, but it can sting a little if you’ve shaved recently or have any tiny nicks. On nights I use it, I do need to follow with a moisturizer because it can leave my skin a bit tight if I don’t. The scent is present but not overwhelming, and the bottle dispenses easily without wasting product. The bottle for this wash is the most unique that I've had, and it's pretty weighty too. You could probably use it to clobber someone if you were in a horror movie, lol! The cap is tall and pops off to reveal the pump, which you twist to pop up; hence why the cap is tall. I love this design because my kids are constantly knocking over my pump bottles and breaking the pumps; with this, they can't do that. The wash is labeled as unscented, but it does have a light fruity scent to me, possibly from the apple extract, but there are no added fragrances. The lather is pretty nice and I love how this makes my skin feel. Even after washing and using a loofah with my typical body wash, the skin on my legs would still be dry and ashy, to the point of needing lotion. This lovely wash exfoliates all of the dry skin, so my legs look like I've already put lotion on; nice and healthy! I did need to use extra wash though, as I found this doesn't last a long time on my loofah. My only issue with this is the writing on the bottle; because the bottle is light in color, the white, small writing in some areas is pretty hard to read. It would be helpful if the writing was a darker color. Obviously not a huge deal though. This is a little pricier than my typical wash, but not by too much. With the exfoliation and how baby soft my skin is, I can definitely see getting this again. Read more
