If you use UV nail glue for extensions, this type of lamp makes the application process much easier because you can hold the nail in place and flash cure it quickly before doing a full cure in a regular nail lamp. One of the best features is the adjustable gooseneck design, which lets you position the light exactly where you need it. This makes it much easier to cure a nail while holding it in place. I bought this as just a flash cure lamp to replace the mini one that i already had. It was difficult to hold the nail the right way when first applying and still be able to see what i was doing. I wanted a goose neck lamp so that I could have my hands fully visible. I intended on only using it for that purchase (flash curing) and using my full hand lamp to do the rest, but without even really thinking about it, I ended up using it from start to finish. I had my other lamp out but i think the only time I used it was after I flash cured all the nails on each hand, I put them in the lamp for an extra 60 seconds to make sure they were fully cured. Afterwards though, this lamp was working so well (quickly) that I ended up using it to cure everything else.. multiple layers of gel polish, and top coat. Ill still probably always pull my full lamp out as well, just because I liked having everything I could possibly need already out and within reach, rather than having to dig for things in the middle of doing my nails. Still, I have a feeling that I will be using this light 90% of the time. I really like it. It's easy to use. I love that it had a countdown so you know how much time is left. I like the multiple time settings. It's the perfect size. The neck twists in any direction you want, which also means you can sort of fold it up when you're done and it takes up very little space. It's lightweight, but the base is heavy enough so it doesn't tip over if you accidentally knock into it. So definitely sturdy. I didnt notice any heat spikes or anything, which considering how strong it appears to be, I was a little surprised. Overall, love it and it will probably become my main lamp. Read more
