I've been using this heat gun for PPF for about a month now and I've been very pleased with. I work in a large shop and use it daily. Gives off the right amount of heat without having to be on the highest setting. I use it on fan speed 1 and heat setting 4. The little light on it has been great in the darker areas on cars like underneath doors and hoods. It's expensive but if you use something everyday it should be of high quality. If you install PPF you will like it, if you hate running cords around expensive cars you'll love it. Read more

Love this little tool. I do a lot of automotive custom wiring and go through a lot of heat shrink tubing. I use this to replace my 110v heat gun to save from dragging a cord into and through the car. I run it at or near max power for the Raychem brand shrink I use. Works great some 2/0awg down to 22awg. While it doesn't get as hot as the 110v unit, it saves from having a cord running into the car. I dislike the case that it came in so I 3D printed a mount to hold the gun and the nozzles.
