This overcoat is mid-length which makes it more versatile and maneuverable. It is light weight and the fabric is good quality. I sprayed it with waterproofer and plan to use it as a light rain jacket and for travel. It fits well over other clothing and even over another jacket. I like the way it looks, with a slightly formal look, and perhaps a bit of sophistication. This was surprisingly nice. Fabric was GREAT not understanding why some review said it was not good quality?? Took to France as a better looking rain coat option than a parker,. I like the design and fit of this item- The only issue I have is that the fabric is rather thin, would have preferred something slightly heavier. The reason for only a 3 star rating is not for the above, but for the price paid, due to the lighter fabric used, should have been a bit less expensive. Did not return item due to- design and fit, plus the time and effort to repackage and take to local store that accepts returns. I have been looking for a polyester coat that stopped near the bottom of my front pants pockets, that didn’t look like a bag. Took a chance on this based on the reviews and so glad I did. It’s a regular fit so it hangs right. When I first put it on, I thought, this feels like a suit, yet it’s casual enough to wear with jeans or casual slacks. It really does feel good like a suit, nice lining and well made. I’m 6’2” 200 lbs and a 2XL fits perfectly, just wearing a t shirt and long sleeve shirt underneath. I am very pleased.
