Love this Low Voltage Landscape Lights. Looks so cool. It has Brass Top Cover for Outdoor. It’s designed for Ground Lights. The Turret is open
Good product with one kinda major FLAW. I got the single opening Turret units. Be aware that the turret is wide open - the glass lens is flat on the bottom and does not block the opening. So, basically it's going to fill up with dirt, debris and crawly creatures. Basically, I just installed a heated hut for spiders to setup shop in. If that doesn't matter to you - it's a great fixture and worth more than I paid here on Amazon. Read more
A great option for ground-level landscape lighting
A great option for ground-level landscape lighting. These units are easy to install and thoroughly waterproof, even when installed next to sprinklers. I used mine to provide some feature lighting down the side of the pool. They're also good for use on lawns because you can uplight trees without having a light fixture sticking up from the lawn that people can trip over or mowers can hit. I especially appreciate being able to buy the units without the MR16 bulbs pre-installed. That way you can choose the exact MR16 model and color temperature you prefer. You can even use Zigbee-controlled color changing MR16s if you're into that kind of thing. A thoughtful feature is that the caddy holding the MR16 can be angled inside the unit, allowing you to direct the light, even if mounted flush. Take care at installation time to position the unit so that you have the correct axis of rotation of the caddy if you want to do that. The brass cover is high quality and so far has shown no sign of tarnishing even after a couple of significant rainstorms. The glass is thick and clear, easily able to withstand a person walking across it. I like all my underground wiring to be in conduit to protect it from gophers etc, so I had to unscrew and remove the cable gland at the base of the unit and replace it with a 1/4" to 1/2" bushing allowing me to then directly connect 1/2" PVC conduit. I'm knocking a star off only because of that inconvenience; otherwise they're great. Read more
