Confirming other reviews - great fit, great style, soles wear out VERY quickly even with light wear. Faster than other cheap faux-leather boots; they don't even last a whole winter before they start leaking in the slush. The upper is still perfect and I considered getting them re-soled, but that would run about a hundred bucks at most good cobblers. So I can just get three more pairs of these, or maybe bite the bullet and get them in real leather. Fit is great for muscular calves. Probably not quite big enough if you are very plus size, but perfect if you are usually between regular and wide calf. Shame they are so disposable, they are the perfect style for former goth/punk/emo kids who still want to shout-out their previous selves. What cute boots. When I ordered these I wasn't expecting much like expecting them to be really stiff or very uncomfortable because the price was so good But they're very cute. I ordered a half size up I always do in boots though. The lace up is for decoration because it has a full zip side But could be used to snug up the fit of the boot because it does function. The zippers of good quality You can tell when you zip them up. They were very easy to put on fit nicely. I just got these boots today.. I've had similar boots like these and they all tend to deteriorate the same way in the fact that the soul separates from the boot itself. Usually on the person's main favored side I should say if you want to call it that? Just depends on the way they walk. But as soon as I pick them up from the post office, I put them on in the car. They went on great! Felt great! And in my opinion look great! To whoever wrote the review about the fact that they are not leather. It says clearly in the description that they are not leather so I would suggest the next time you purchase something, you read the reviews and the item description before you buy and write a bad review that's your own bed be informed about your purchases! I will write another review after wearing these for a few days to see whether or not they hold up, or if they fall apart like other boots I've had like these. But the fit is perfect! They are comfortable! I have wide feet, and I ordered my normal size so I wouldn't necessarily suggest sizing up. As other people's are suggesting just go with what you know. To be continued. Great boots for the price. I wear them all the time because they're comfortable and stylish. I get compliments all the time. Sole is glued on rather than stitched so they don't last more than a year or 2 (with frequent wear) but I order them over and over because at the low price, they're worth replacing. Read more
