Overall, I've had a great experience with the Mangoal front/rear dashcam over the last 5 months - bought it in June of 2025 for my 2025 F150 Platinum Hybrid. The front video quality is fantastic (perhaps not true 4K but it's very clear and high quality). The rear video quality is as expected for only 1080p (it's certainly good enough to make out details and see what's going on behind you). I love that it looks like an OEM component and is very discreet, you don't even see it from within the vehicle. I check recordings monthly over the built in Wi-Fi connection to ensure it's working as expected. Installation is relatively easy all things considered. Initially, I used the included wiring harness to grab power from the auto dimming mirror, it works well (more on power below). Be aware, for the rear camera you have to run the wire behind the SRS Airbag in the A pillar when routing the wire to the back window. That was probably the hardest part in my F150 as it's a tight fit. The next hardest part was hiding all of the excess wire for the rear camera, had a tough time shoving it under the headliner at the back of the cab but eventually got it all in there. Regarding power...in addition to the dashcam, I highly recommend the Mangoal "Fuse Box Power Adapter" to enable time lapse video recording when parked. I bought it a few months ago but didn't have time to deal with it, finally installed it mid-November 2025. The install was a little challenging, but there are plenty of videos online with good instructions. I'll report back if there's anything unusual, but it's working as expected. The media could not be loaded. Why did you pick this product vs others?: This thing is amazing! I looked long and hard for a dash cam that looked OEM and this has paid off! I cannot get over how much it looks like it came with the vehicle. It sits right behind the rear view mirror and never obstructs your view. Every other dash cam that I've seen and that my friends have recommended sit with Messy wires and your field of view. The front camera shoots extremely high quality, check the videos in my review. The rear camera sits in discreetly and the video quality is very good even though it is shooting through limo tinted windows. I'm super super impressed. The installation was very very easy and I love that it came with the trim removal tool even though I didn't have to use it. The installation videos were very easy to follow. I would say the most difficult thing was running the wire in the ceiling of my truck to get to the back camera but that only took 10 minutes or so. The app is very intuitive and very easy to work with. You can connect to it while driving especially because that is the only wireless network that will be around. I also really appreciate that the camera can do one two or three minute loops so that it does not lose any of the video files. It Doesn't just do one huge recording like a home security system would. This camera also has great parking ability, where in that you can record if somebody bumps your car too hard. Overall the video quality is very great and I can almost read license plates while I'm going quickly by them from the front camera as it is 4k. There's a little part of me that wishes there were more features, but I just don't know what the features would be. This camera is very straightforward but does an extremely great job! 10 out of 10 would recommend! Camera quality: Very good quality.
