I gifted this to my baby neice on her first birthday, and it soon became one of her favorite toys. She loves all of the different ways it makes noise, and the way pieces move around. She keeps discovering new ways to use it, like in one picture you see she's using it to help her stand up and keep her balance around the play room. Unfortunately the little noise maker attachments became dog chew toys pretty quickly, so you might want to put those away until play time. But even still, she uses it without the 3 attachments. (I haven't checked if we can purchase those separately, but if not, perhaps they can make those available.) Well made. Beautifully painted. This is an heirloom item you'll pass down. Edit: I added an updated picture 6 months later to show how often she plays with it, and now that she's walking, she brings it with her. Great quality and just too cute. Arrived quicker than expected which was not a problem at all. The size of the outer box is larger/wider? than I anticipated - expect to wrap it or buy a very large bag if this is a gift. Also be mindful that the mallets are wooden and look like lollipops and my friends toddler immediately put it in their own mouth. Read more

This toy came basically assembled. It was made of very sturdy wood and was very attractive. My 1 year old granddaughter played with it for hours. Her 3 year old brother and his friend liked it to and played with it some. Read more

This is exactly what I was hoping for. Brightly colored, very aesthetically pleasing when it’s put away. A bit expensive, sure, but it’s a quality, wooden toy. Durable without being too heavy. My baby really enjoys spinning around the pieces right now and I think will really enjoy making music with the little drumstick it comes with when she’s bigger- for now she mostly just chews on it. I do wish the tail didn’t pop off so easily but on the other hand, she likes to use it as a rattle sometimes so. Read more
