I am so discriminatory when it comes to nail clippers because I have come across so many dull nail clippers that end up tearing my nails or bending them and hurting me. I did a lot of research before I decided to purchase this set and I really did not want to set quite so big but I kept going towards the pretty pink Packaging which persuaded me to settle on this of course as well as all of the good reviews! The tools in this set are so sharp and they are not too small but they are small enough. They are easy to use, they don't slip in your hands and they cut through even the toughest thickest nails! The package is a beautiful pink and each piece inside the package has its own spot with a holder so that the pieces don't slide around inside of the case. I purchased this for my wife in rose gold and she is extremely impressed with this product. 1) The case looks expensive and super nice! 2) She tried the tools immediately. She has long natural fingernails and does her own manicures and these tools WORK! The clippers are sharp, the cuticle trimmer works impeccable, and it includes like every useful tool ever. 3) We didn't pay attention to the measurements when getting this kit, and to be honest my wife expected a semi small miniature set. Instead you receive a solid sized kit that feels and looks expensive. I haven’t had a chance to use the set but it appears to be excellent quality and case is well constructed. My only complaint is that it’s a bit heavy. Bought as a gift for Mom in the nursing home and it was a big hit. She was filing away with some old emory board and if she broke a nail she would just bite at it. Because nail scissors and clippers are usually MIA when traveling, I took advantage of Prime Day and purchased two of these. I'm impressed with the quality of the tools. They’re heavy-duty despite their size and both clippers and scissors are well balanced and sharp. The case is solid and attractive and the elastic bands holding the tools are businesslike and tough. High quality manicure set, so many tools, so few fingers. My family of girls has a sense of entitlement over any and all nail clippers in the house. They hoard them, leaving nothing for their poor unitary man in the family to use when manicuring needs to happen. Enter the rose gold manicure set, off limits to the girls! The case is cute but the tools itself is not the best. The point nail cutter cannot be put back on it's place because it's too crowded in the pouch...trying to put it back will break the holder itself. The NAIL CUTTER the big one... I just tried using it just now and it's so springy that when using it you're pretty much just waiting to cut yourself because you have to push so hard to be able to cut your nails not bc your nail is hard but because the nail cutter is so weak. I don't think it's worth the buy unless you hate someone so much and you want to gift them something cheap in price and quality. Read more
