WOW!!! When this package arrived my first thought was this is such a small package, but to my surprise it holds a lot inside. It’s my first time using this product, I love it and my chicks love it even more. This product absorbs moisture and my chicks love to scratch in it. It keeps the bad odor out. Easy clean up. This bag looks small when it comes. But it’s not! It’s just compacted tightly. That makes it nice when cleaning the coop. There isn’t any odor and it is very absorbent. The hens really like it. Easy to clean up. Read more

Just as described . No dust or any funky smell. Our chickens love it. We are first timers with a chicken coop. What we did see is how our chicks like to nestle in the fresh flakes. We have yet to finish the first bag but it looks like it will last a while until we have to restock. I would recommend if you are not sure. Don't open the whole bag, it helps to open just a corner if for a small area. Read more

They are larger flakes than I expected but the quality is good and clean and there is a lot in the bag. Ive used barely any to fill the bottom of a 4 ft brooder. Soaked up water I spilled easily too. Good value for the money. Read more

I use these in my chickens laying boxes, and after trying straw, these are so much softer and they do not have a strong smell. The size of them are not too big, but not too small so I don’t worry about the chickens eating them and they’re able to shape their little nest the way they want it. Also, this bag has lasted me pretty long because it’s compacted so much in there very durable. Flakes! Read more
