I'm a busy working mom and this polish system is worth it. I am hard on my nails and wash my hands often. This polish system is easy to put on, lasts 2 weeks or more depending on your preference, and is SUPER easy to remove. Unlike other gel polish systems that need harsh removal with sanding or soaking in nasty chemicals and ruins your nails ect...this comes right off with their removal liquid. My pictures are of the red polish on for 2 weeks. Minor wear at the nail tip, but no big chips on the ends. Grown out at top from 2 weeks of wear, but that's normal growth. Buy yourself some manicure tools and enjoy! I am used to doing my nails at home for a while now and have tried the gel kits and I have tools like buffer, correction brushes, cuticle scissors etc., which makes any home manicure so much better. I like this set ALOT more than my traditional gel kit with UV. There is NO sting like when gel polish heats up quick. The smell is strong like regular polish HOWEVER, after it dries it has such a lovely fresh scent!! I’ve never used anything like it. I am so in love with the color red. This had such great reviews that I thought my issue was user error. I have tried to make this work and every time I have a major chip the very next day. I tried doubling the light dry time, no go. The last two tries were when I was on vacation, so not even cooking or cleaning and being hard on a manicure. I am so disappointed Read more

This is a nice, all-inclusive set, especially good for people just getting started in gel polish. It includes everything you need - base coat, top coat, LED lamp, nail clips (for easy polish removal), remover, and 2 gel polishes - a light pink and and a dark coral/red - both of which are really pretty. The light is especially nice as many LED lights are smaller - and this is big enough to put your whole hand or foot under - which means you can do a mani/pedi faster. If you're new to gel polish - it's the bomb. After you paint it on, it stays wet until you cure it with the light. So it's much easier to clean off my skin and make the nail look perfect before I bake it under the light that seals it to my nail. And then it's like a coat of plastic that's been bonded to your nail - so it lasts a lot longer than regular polish. This polish goes on smoothly and easily. I hope to get 3 weeks out of this polish (that I just put on my toes.) If I have any issues with the polish, or the removal, I will update this review. My only (minor) comment is that the LED light stays on 120 seconds by doing 2 rounds of 60 seconds back-to-back. That was a bit confusing at first. But just put your nail under the light and push the button and it will do its thing. And the price was a bit high when I got it - but it is definitely an easy way to get everything you need in one kit. I like it. Read more

Ok, maybe this is my inexperience talking. This is the first time I've tried vegan gel polish, so I could just be a little uninformed here. The first thing I noticed when I opened the bottles is that they smell exactly like regular, old fashioned, "OMG I can't touch anything until they dry" nail polish. Then I noticed that the consistency is exactly the same as well, thin and almost runny. So, I decided to try an experiment. I did a couple nails, curing them with the nail light as instructed. Then I did a couple nails just letting it air dry like regular nail polish. The only layer that the light seemed to have any effect on is the base coat. The color layer dried in almost the same amount of time without the light as it did with the light. The top coat took slightly longer to dry without the light than it did with the light. Unfortunately, on both tests, the top coat wasn't very scratch resistant. The light works well. It folds, so it's easy to store. It would probably work great for other gel polishes, but the timing might be off for those. This light has 2 settings. 2 minutes and 3 minutes. If using this light for other brands of nail polish, you'll have to set a timer. On the other hand, at least with the longer time settings on it, I can still use if for UV resin projects. Read more

The kit comes with two polish colors, LED lamp, base and top coat, nail polish remover, cute stickers to decorate your LED lamp and finger clips to aid in removing the polish. It comes with an instruction manual as well. The polish colors are a pretty red and a burgundy color. The directions are easy to follow and it’s pretty self explanatory. The LED lamp in my opinion takes longer to dry the nails than the recommended time. I know these are supposed to be gel nails that last longer than regular nail polish but I didn’t notice them holding up much longer than regular polish. Maybe a few days longer without chips or wear. It’s a good starter kit but it’s pricey. Read more
