Update: I bought two more. Same quailty but I have to point out the color variations. They do still stay put but if your looking for matching these are not it. The color difference that you can see in the photo is not from lighting or a flash. They really are that different from each other. I was going to us them in a hallway instead of a runner cause the smaller ones are easier on the washer and dryer but they don't match so I'll use them in different spots of the house. It isn't a big deal as long as they aren't right next to each other, showing exactly how different they are color wise. Original comments: I have been looking for a small rug to put by our back door. We have one step down as you go thru the back door. It has tiny tiles as flooring and when they get wet it is slippery. Once when it was raining, with tennis shoes on, I stepped into it the back door and my foot slid so much I almost did the splits. I grabbed the door and caught myself but vowed to get a no movement rug to go there. I have bought a few and sure you can buy padding or other stay put stuff to put down BUT I just really wanted a simple rug to just lay flat and stay put without all the bulkyness of non slip stuff. I can't tell ya how absorbent it is yet and I haven't had to clean it yet...but I can tell you it really stays put. I am delighted with these rugs that truly are a thing of beauty and exactly as they were pictured on Amazon. Even though I stored them rolled up in their original packaging for some weeks after arrival, they unfurled beautifully on our floors with no effort at all and with no creases, wrinkles, or other issues. The only exception to that rule is that one of them has the tiniest upward curl on one corner point, but I think it will easily resolve with some pressure applied to that spot. Unlike so many such products, these rugs emitted no odor when unpacked and I am hopeful that this means they are healthier for bare feet -- and bare paws -- to walk on. Visually, they are stunningly beautiful and seem a great value for their price. I probably should have gone with a darker color, as the cream-colored parts of the blue and cream version I bought are already showing dirt from foot traffic. However, the rugs look as though they would be a cinch to clean with just a portable spot cleaning device. The blue and cream is certainly beautiful and I am willing to clean them more often for the trade-off of that beauty! Another point is that, although we have them on wood floors, they do not seem to be at all slippery. Nice looking rug. The last one lasted for 6 years. This one is slightly larger and more colorful. Great for the kitchen - doesn't slip, and is easy to clean. I washed the smaller one in the washing machine - probably will try it with this one as well. Read more

I am not into decorating, furnishings or textiles. I am a fairly simple person who just wants items to look nice, fit the house and hold up over time. I purchased this rug to replace a 5x7 rug that moved like crazy on the wood floor despite all efforts to anchor it. This rug was bigger, sounded like it had a better backing and was a reasonable price. It came as fast as expected but I was a bit surprised it only came wrapped in clear plastic. No box or anything. Maybe that’s normal? It is currently in my living room and we like it. It seems like good quality but I guess time will tell. I like that it is multiple blue tones against the cream background, but the shades of blue are a bit lighter than I expected. It is also not as heavy as I was anticipating. I got this rug in color blue and size 7x10 for our dining area. I took a risk ordering online but I am so glad I did because this rug is soooo beautiful! It makes my dining area look elegant. Delivery was fast, I ordered it on a Friday and it got delivered Tuesday the following week even when the estimated delivery says a week. Even my picky husband who was very hesitant in ordering this (because he likes sticking to natural colors like beige) was very satisfied when he saw it in our dining area. The design is perfect, giving color to our nude wall color. It feels nice on the feet but it’s not super soft and I don’t expect it to be since it’s going to be used in a high traffic area. I want to be able to clean the rug anytime with no problems especially that we have a toddler who’s a messy eater. There were no curls in the end and nor strong smell upon unwrapping it. This picture was taken 10mins after it was delivered and you can see that it’s all laid flat. Now, I just need to adjust the table and chairs for them to be centered on the rug!
