These are a decent pillowcase cover. I usually put a silk pillow cover underneath these to help keep it cooler. The coolness is there but it doesn't last a real long time when you're laying on it. So don't think it's going to stay cool while you're laying on it for a long time. But when you move around and you get to a new part of the pillow that you have not been laying on. These pillow cases really do what they claim to do; keep cool! I just bought these for my friend who has trouble sleeping because I was so happy with the ones I bought myself. They wash well, they fit nicely with the good zipper closure, they are a nice color, a nice soft texture, and they cool down so fast when you flip them over, they help me get right back to sleep when I wake up. A cool pillow is the ultimate luxury, yum. If you have a menopausal woman in your life and you care about her sleep, or you just care about your own sleep, these really are worth it. I ordered these almost a yr ago and they still look like the day I received them! Even after washing once a wk! I liked them so much, I also ordered the throw! It feels SO good! I don't have the measurements of the throw but it's actually bigger than a typical throw. Pillowcases: The silky side does help w less frizz of my hair. I've never felt the need to turn my pillow over because these cases don't make you hot! And I'm a 54 yr old woman...you know what that means! 😆 One more thing, (in my opinion) I feel the sheets they offer as well may be a little slippery. I ordered the cases 1st because I did want the sheets. My thinking was to try the pillowcases 1st so I would have an idea of what the sheets would feel like. I'm so happy I decided to do that! I personally like this material. I have a blanket with the same stuff and I think it does a good job compared to other stuff in the market and it’s very smooth and soft. As a pillow case I don’t think it works as well at keeping you cool. Also the cooling material is only on one side so if you ever one of those people who will flip the pillow for a colder side, it’s not really the case for that. It zips close and the larger size can fit a queen/king size pillow. Still trying it out but so far I’d say if you have the extra money go for it. I am a hit sleeper, darn menopause! Had my doubts about if this would work ans wasn't would about the color. Pleasantly surprised! Zippered pillow cover shams fit snug and are deceptively comfortable! Color is a nice fit too and I can use a light weight coverlet if I want a different color for a change. I bought the entire set, sheets (bottom fits tall mattress height and has elastic to hold it snug on the corners), flat sheet is long enough to tuck in at the bottom and sides, blanket and coverlet are heavy, dud not think I would like it, but it is perfect.
