it was just delivered today, Yes it smells at and it might take a while to get the smell out of it, but we can handle it. Maybe we will throw on it some baking soda and some vinegar to help with the smell. It does shed when we vacuum but the shading doesn't seem to be bad. This is our first wool rug and it seem to be good quality. Feels warm when we walk over it and it didn't had prep 65 at checkout. I was looking for a rug that was thick enough to keep warm as our kids spend lots of time on the floor and that is natural with less chemicals. On the rug it said that is wool and cotton blend. Feels soft and warm when we walk on it. I hope our kids will enjoy it too. The pattern and the colors are calming. Read more
