I was hesitate to buy this product initially due to its high negative reviews. However I realized that most of those reviews were an unfair comparison to the cotton towels especial the hotel grade ones. Cotton towel has more water absorption capacity and therefore can dry your body more efficient but it is bulky and more abrasive. Microfiber towel is softer, lighter and dry quicker. I won't used it at home. It is a personal preference. I will use it for going to the gym, swim meet and camping. Really like the feel and size of these towels but the color was way off! Don’t order grey unless you like purple. Still keeping them since they are softer, longer, and a little thicker than Norwex. The absorbency is great and the price is right. Read more

I cannot recommend purchasing this item for two reasons. First, although they’re labeled as oversized, you can’t imagine this being a problem…until you start using them. They’re roughly the same width as a standard bath towel, but they’re about 50%-60% longer. They’re ungainly and drag on the ground while you’re using them, no matter what you do. If you buy these for the gym, not a good thing. The second reason I cannot recommend buying this item, they lost their absorbency after several washes. At first, they were great, and they dried very quickly. But that stopped after only a few weeks. I’ve got a top-of-the-line washer and I use a good detergent, so I’m positive it wasn’t dirt buildup. They just lost their ability to absorb water very quickly. At least these towels were an inexpensive lesson learned. Read more

PROS: - Much more lightweight than standard towels. This is the biggest plus for me, and it makes it easier to maneuver the towel while drying and puts less strain on my arms when towel drying my long hair. - Very big! Can wrap around body all the way if you're like me and like lounging around the house in your towel. - Drys completely overnight CONS - As other reviewers said, you have to 'blot' your body, the towel clings to your skin and you can't just rub yourself dry which is hard to get used to. It's hard to understand this feeling unless you experience it. I personally don't like it. - Scratchy edges. This is kind of a pro as it feels good when drying off your back, but on any other part of the body, it feels abrasive. - I have found it gets smelly quickly. I bought these because I’ve been on a Norwex spree, but couldn’t accept the price tag for a Norwex towel. So I searched for something that would compare, mainly in terms of fluff (all microfiber towels are much thinner than your standard bath towel, so for me it had to hold up in the soft/fluffy department). They hold up, and I’m glad I bought these. I read lots of reviews for lots of towels, and I’m proud of the choice I made to buy these. So yes, they’re soft. No, they aren’t “flat” for a microfiber towel, nor are they velvet-like or slick; although they do have a bit of sheen to them. I don’t mind that they’re thin. Truthfully I’ve used them and haven’t washed them yet (eeeew! lol), so I’m curious if they’ll change texture after a few washes (or get lose fibers or something-which I’ve read are contributing to the plastic pollution collection on our Earth). My train of thought in buying these is that I will be washing them less often. I love that these towels dry fast, so they don’t get that sour smell as frequently. I should have waited a few months before writing this review to see how these hold up, but if these take a turn for the worse I’ll provide an update. Read more
