Great desk
I've been using modular shelving for over a decade, now. It's great for keeping the caseless PC underneath at cool temperatures -- not so great as a platform for irregularly-accumulated secondary monitors, stands, and breadboards. Pleasantly, the dimensions of this standing table were perfect for keeping the PC still underneath on a modular shelf while giving me a top surface which looks a bit less "bachelory" (all monitors being a different size excepted). Table is easy to assemble and operate. I assembled it solo without issue; the instructions were good and the assembly process intuitive -- may need a second person to actually move the whole table (both in the box, and fully assembled). The motor's quiet and the up-down movement is slow enough that it's difficult to crush something if you're paying some attention. Table comes with generous pull-out storage for peripherals and perhaps lunch. Edit: I've been using this for a few months now and am still very impressed with it. I'm tempted to get a second one for daughter. Read more

This creates a beautiful workspace that is functional and pleasing to the eye. It’s easy to lower and raise and is quiet. It will require cleaning fairly often.
