Mary Kay Concealer Ivory 2

Mary Kay is my favorite brand of cosmetics and their concealer is the perfect consistency and quality I expect. The concealer is very thin, almost watery but that allows it to glide onto your skin easily and doesn't look heavy. Lasts all day and comes off easily at night with facial cleansers or eye makeup-removers. The Ivory 2 has a yellow undertone whereas the Ivory 1 has more pink so make sure to consider that in your purchase. This did not have the thickness and long lasting effect as the one I ordered in the past from an actual Mary Kay Rep. It is to thin kind of watery and wears off quickly. I think I will just order from an Actual Mary Kay Rep. I paid to much money for this product and was not happy with the results. I wish I could get refunded but it is not refundable... This is the only concealer that is light/pale enough to match my skin color AND have enough coverage to actually conceal. It covers up my epic dark circles wonderfully and doesn't feel caked on or dry out my skin really. I've tried so many other brands but I always come back to this one. Read more

It wasn't what I expected, it had a very caked on feel to it, I also didn't like the smell of it. It was probably too extreme for my for my skin, I feel this product is for people who have serious dark circles, etc. and are willing to keep something that feels very heavy on the skin to conceal it. It also didn't seem it have enough in the bottle, it's not worth the price. This product is definitely not for me! Read more

I have many other Mary Kay products in ivory 2 which I love, but this concealer is almost white. I can't use it as a concealer for red spots but it can be used under eyes if you blend it well and cover it with a fair amount of powder. Read more

The delivery came much earlier than I expected, so that was one of the things I was pleased about this item. The quality of the concealer was very much pleasing- it is not so runny nor firm. I think it is a satisfying concealer, the coverage of spots/scars on the face is also amazing. The only thing that disappointed me was the color. Ivory 2 was a little lighter than my skin tone. I think Beige 1 would have fit my skin tone perfectly. I think it could have been better if the seller put a clear picture displaying the colors of each type of concealers.
