We have purchased this vitamin c for our 7 year old. The taste is great, the dosage is slightly higher than needed for this age. 125 mg of vitamin C for a 7-year-old is safe and reasonable, a bit above daily needs but not too much. Most children easily meet vitamin C needs through food — citrus, strawberries, kiwi, bell peppers, broccoli, etc. But little boost during the cold season is needed sometimes. If a child takes more vitamin C than needed, the good news is that it’s a water-soluble vitamin, meaning the body doesn’t store excess amounts — it usually gets flushed out in urine. However, too much (especially in high supplement doses) can cause some uncomfortable side effects. Read more

Arrived with the seal broken but I reached out to the company and they have mailed me a replacement. It would be 5 stars if it had not arrived with a broken seal. I have had these vitamins before and they seem to be good quality. The flavor may be surprising at first since these do not contain extra sugar like other gummy vitamins.
